The latest estimations say that in Legnica both armies were approximately 8000 to 10 000 strong. This means that we can use the standard ratio of 250 infantry/element, 200 cavalry/element and 150 skirmishers/element.

The Mongol Army

The Mongol army was divided into four commands. The largest command was the reserve and was commanded by Ordu Khan. Two other commanders, Baidar and Kadan, probably also fought in Legnica.
